How Do I Purchase Beats From Your Store
- To purchase beats from my catalog above, simply click on the "+" button, and then click on the Licensing Option you wish to Add to your Cart. Once you have Added the beat(s) you want in your cart, Simply click the "Buy Now" button on the upper right corner of the beat store. You will then proceed to the Checkout page where you can complete your purchase either with Paypal or by credit card, check card, etc. You will then receive the purchase via email. Do You Offer Any Discounts or Bundle Deals on Your Beats?

Are Exclusive Beats Removed After Purchase?
- Once you have officially completed your purchase for an Exclusive beat, the beat will automatically be removed from the page. If for some reason there happens to be a payment problem, please contact me at genycis@yahoo.com as soon as you are able to advise of your problem. Any Exclusive Beats that encounter Insufficient Funds, Fraudulent Payments, etc. will be added back to the catalog within 7 to 10 days if the dispute is not resolved.
Will Tags Be Removed from the Beats After Purchase?
- Once you have officially completed your purchase, whether for a lease or Exclusive Beat, all tags will be removed from the beat you receive. There will be no tags on the beats that you purchase.
What are Trackouts?
- Trackouts are separated audio files of each instrument (example: kicks, hi-hats, snares, bass, each instrument, etc) exported into high quality separate WAV files. Having the trackout files can be very helpful when you are in the studio and your audio engineer will have more control over mixing, editing, and final mastering of your project.
How Do I Credit You on My Projects that Use Your Beats?

It's Not All About Trap Beats ... Boom Bap, Old School Beats are Still Alive
While it seems that more of the current trend is fixated on trap music and mumble rap, it doesn't mean that boom bap hip hop music is dead. On the contrary, it is still alive, and there are artists still inspired by the old school flava of 90's hip hop music. It is this same 90's old school hip hop music that inspired me over 15 years ago to get into making beats to begin with, and to create my official site at Genycis.com.
I was originally born in Brooklyn, NY. As I got more into music, I found that east coast hip hop flava really resonating within me, and it was that flava that inspired me to start making beats. Initially, I was inspired to write and rap, but it eventually led me to make beats, and I never looked back once I got into beatmaking!
Some of my inspirations include music from artists such as Nas, Mobb Deep, Big Pun, Wu-Tang Clan, Notorious B.I.G., DMX, Fat Joe (back then), Jay-Z, Redman, Terror Squad, The Lox, Beanie Sigel, and countless others from that 90's hip hop era.
And while the trend today seems to be more about trap beats in terms of the mainstream, there is still a growing desire for those who want to spit lyrical fire onto solid, bangin' boom bap beats! There are still artists out there who are making fire that resembles old school hip hop. It is with that inspiration in mind, that I strive to continue making beats in all genres including trap, infused with that NYC flava that inspired me to get into beat making to begin with!
